Was working as a Research Assistant at the University of Extremadura in the "Metaphor in Use in One-to One Academic Consultations in English: Implications for Spanish Student Mobility in Europe" research project from September 2012 to June 2013.

She graduated from Michigan State University (USA) in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and completed her Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Jaén (Spain) in 2011.

Her research interests revolve around the role of body language in human interaction and communication.
